HIGHLY TRAINED MULTI SKILLED

This is Tom Shippen and Stephen Lough, two of the twenty one metal workers currently employed at DSM.
All are competent in every aspect of the fabrication process from interpreting drawings, development, cutting, forming, assembly and welding - with the majority qualified to BS EN287, ASME IX and AWS standards.
We take pride in our metal workers and believe they are the best in their field.

SUPERVISORS

EXPERIENCED AND TALENTED

Steve Batey and Ken Bickers are our workshop supervisors and the tradesmen’s first point of contact for technical advice and direction. Steve doubles up as our primary inspector whilst Ken acts as a team leader on our larger projects. Both ensure the timely completion of jobs to the highest standard.

SUPPORT STAFF

THE COMMITTED FOUNDATIONS OF DSM

George Gibson and Steve Moffat are two of our support staff that includes labourers, drivers and a maintenance engineer. They are a vital element of our workforce and are responsible for the smooth flow of goods through the factory. They do this by helping the tradesmen when necessary, finishing goods, packing and delivering them, while our maintenance engineer ensures all machinery is running efficiently and jobs are not delayed by technical problems.
