DSM won an order to supply five intake silencers for a power station in Tripoli. The silencers were manufactured with a mild steel casing (9m * 6m * 8m high) with each containing twenty acoustic attenuators. The fabrications were completed within stringent timescales and shipped directly from South Tyneside

This job involved refurbishing the entire cellblock within the courts. Stainless steel fabrications such as cell doors, grills, gates and beds were made in house before installation on site.

We have carried out numerous contracts for HM Prison Service and we are approved suppliers of security doors and gates for various police authorities.

DSM was asked to participate in the design and manufacture of an extension to the exhaust system of the offshore rig, Piper Bravo. The final construction consisted of four stainless steel exhausts contained in a support frame, designed exactly to fit directly onto the existing structure. The project only took six weeks, from the receipt of order to final installation on the Tyne.
