Established in 1955, Durham Sheet Metal Works Ltd provides the complete sheet and structural metal fabrication package. Based in South Tyneside, we manufacture high quality, affordable goods to individual customer specifications.

The majority of our fabrications are composed of steel and aluminium. Typical products range from bespoke acoustic enclosures to batch produced machine components.

Originally catering for the ship repair industry on the Tyne, DSM has steadily expanded over the past fifty years. Customers are now more varied, ranging from multi-national engineering firms to local government authorities.

As well as our in-house fabrication facility we also provide a first class installation service both on and offshore.

Our aim is to provide an affordable subcontract service, on time, which is of the highest quality.
